Cookies and storage, in plain words
Version v2.7 · Last updated 18 October 2026
We don't use advertising cookies, and nothing stored is used for advertising.
Needed to work (no consent needed)
Staying signed in, set by our platform Base44; security; and the offline copy that lets safety pages open without internet.
Your choices
Allowed without consent; you can clear them any time: language, country and UK nation, accessibility settings, 3am mode, the child profile, update notices.
Things you save on this phone
Crisis Card, contacts, your carer's mobile number (for Tell my carer, kept under "serenehelp:shield:carer"), My plan, Money Mentor notes, Trust Bridge tools, reminder settings and the other tools you use. Everything SereneHelp stores starts with "serenehelp:". Our platform, Base44, also stores your sign-in (base44_access_token and token) and a few settings that start with "base44_".
Our platform
We have switched off Base44's page tracker in our code, so SereneHelp sends no page counts. Base44 still records sign-ins, and says page views may still appear in its own records even when its analytics are off. None of it is used for advertising.
How to clear it all
Privacy → Delete all my data clears all SereneHelp storage and the offline copy on this phone. Your browser's settings can clear it too.
Crisis and helpline information may be translated automatically. If you are in danger or need urgent help, contact your local emergency number straight away. To report a mistake in safety or helpline information, email safety@serenehelp.org.
